WHAT TO BRING:

Everything you'll need for the duration of your stay. In packing for your stay at the 2007 New York Drum Festival bring a light coat as it sometimes gets chilly in the evening. If you are staying in our basic dorms, we want to remind you to that there is no air conditioning in most of the rooms, but you may feel free to bring a fan.

Other items to consider: ear plugs, comfortable mattress pad, alarm clock, a camera and a pen and paper for names and addresses, memories, songs and rhythms! Water Bottle(s)
Snacks
Comfortable clothing
Recording device if desired
Journal
Paper/Notebooks
Instruments if desired (not required)
Recordings of music you enjoy and/or have created

Recording devices are generally ok with most faculty during classes. A good rule of thumb is to ask the teacher first before taping something.
